Photodude demands catblogging as a corrective to general rising insanity. I feel I owe it to my country to comply.

Our cats, Niobe, Nestor and Radka, are extensively pictured elsewhere. But if you think this exhausts my supply of cat pictures, you are wrong! So very, very wrong!

Phoenix

Phoenix lives with my father-in-law.

Much like Radka, Phoenix enjoys jumping around, though he lacks Radka's accuracy in landing. That picture was hard to get; I ended up with a claw mark on my nose from the first take. Here he is being cute:

Moses

Moses and Freya live with my mother-in-law. Moses is more than 20 years old and getting pretty frail these days, but always friendly:

Freya

Freya is impressively fuzzy:

That's your cat blogging for today.

My favorites of your own: B & W big head and cuddling (I have dozens of pictures of our two cats doing that). The fuzzy Freya above also reminds me of ours, who have equally long fur and impossibly fluffy, big tails.

Some old pictures of our kitties.

You have the best cat pictures ever. So cute! I might have to invade your family and claim all the cute cats as pirate booty.

nester might just have the mightiest kitten nose ever.

At some point you're going to have to tell me how you get pictures like that of your cats. I've tried, and I've found cats are the hardest thing to photograph I've ever encountered. I've managed to take ONE good cat photo, ever.

That is gorgeous. The cat and the picture.

That's a friend's fourteen-year-old cat from Iceland. I am not quite sure how it got from Iceland to here, but these days it lives with the friend, and is called "Lumikki", which is "Snow White" in Finnish.

I could also mention that lately, I've become quite involved in the image board culture, a pastime much beloved by the Japanese.

One of the biggest Japanese image boards, Futaba Channel (warning: confusion reigns within) has a board dedicated to cat pictures.
